Aaron is our founder here at MoveWell Mobile. Aaron is a physical therapist by trade with a passion for all things strength & conditioning. After growing up in Madison, AL, Aaron moved to the campus of Birmingham-Southern College in 2009 and after 4 years and a stint as a two-sport athlete, he decided to move across town to get his doctorate in physical therapy at UAB. Outside of fitness, Aaron's favorite hobbies are traveling, walking his dog, looking at real estate, and being on the water - hard to beat the lakes around here! Aaron started MoveWell to lead a shift in healthcare - a shift from a reactive model that tends to wait until people are sick and injured to a proactive model that catches dysfunction and promotes health and wellness. Aaron's mission is to bring convenience and individualization to rehab and fitness to help others live longer, healthier lives.

Mel’s introduction to physical therapy came as a patient, after an on-field injury in her freshman year of college left her with a dislocated shoulder, a need for surgery, and a lengthy run with PT to help get her back on the softball field. After experiencing the impact a PT can have on a client firsthand, she knew that’s what she wanted to do. Mel believes the greatest asset an individual has is their fitness and that movement is medicine, which is why she uses her knowledge and experience as a physical therapist and CrossFit Level 2 Trainer to help her clients achieve their goals. While Mel enjoys helping all individuals, she is especially passionate about working with the pregnant/postpartum population.
